Ingredients

  • 2 cans chickpeas, drained
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 400g chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Cumin, coriander, and amchur
  • Garam masala
  • Fresh coriander

Method

  1. Fry onions until deep golden, then add ginger-garlic paste.
  2. Add tomatoes and ground spices and cook to a thick masala.
  3. Stir in the chickpeas with a splash of water and simmer.
  4. Finish with garam masala, amchur, and fresh coriander.
