Ingredients
- 1 pack filo pastry
- 250g pistachios, chopped
- 200g butter, melted
- 200g sugar
- 120ml water
- 2 tbsp honey
- Lemon and cinnamon
Method
- Layer buttered filo sheets, scattering nuts between groups.
- Cut into diamonds before baking.
- Bake until deeply golden and crisp throughout.
- Pour cooled honey-lemon syrup over the hot pastry and rest.
