Ingredients

  • 1 pack filo pastry
  • 250g pistachios, chopped
  • 200g butter, melted
  • 200g sugar
  • 120ml water
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Lemon and cinnamon

Method

  1. Layer buttered filo sheets, scattering nuts between groups.
  2. Cut into diamonds before baking.
  3. Bake until deeply golden and crisp throughout.
  4. Pour cooled honey-lemon syrup over the hot pastry and rest.
